Which activities make you lose track of time?

Hi Everyone! I’m Megan and I would say that two activities, in particular, make me lose track of time. In all honesty, I am a little bit of a procrastinator so I often lose time doing other things that are not priority. Firstly, When I start drawing in my sketchpad, I can spend hours making the artwork look picture-perfect before I realise how much time has gone by. I feel like I blink and 3 hours have passed. Sketching and painting have always given me the peace and joy I crave in my spare time. After a long busy day, with jobs and tasks falling out of my ears, there’s so many, putting pen to paper helps me to release any stress and tensions I have.
You know what they say time flies when you’re having fun and the other hobby that makes time fly for me is gardening. Nature always makes me feel lighter and brighter. I can’t say that I have green fingers but I do enjoy planting flowers, watering them, and I even like weeding which I know is not everyone’s cup of tea.
I feel at home in my garden and usually before I know it the evening comes around and I have been out there doing jobs all day. The colours, the smell, the speed at which the plants grow, always amazes me and I never feel the need to check the time when I am out there. For me, these activities are the perfect way to kill time without even noticing when I have a lot of time on my hands.
